When my Audi went full enthusiast car on me, I did use a rental (free from work) for a little while in the processs of getting El Moose and El Zapatito. Thoughts after the jumpy jump.
It was a 2015 Toyota Crayola.
Seats: Good
Visibility: Good
Performance: Faster than the Audi
Driveablility: Tight and accurate
Ride: Comfy and Feedbacky
Interior: Very Nice!
Exterior: Me gusta, very nice blue
Best feature: Best LED headlights ever!
Did I fall asleep?: No
Did I die from lack of “steering feel”: No
Did I drive without my lights on: No, but everyone in every other type of car did.
In closing: While a nice car, it was still out of my budget. The OPPO in me would never pass up the deal I got. Moral of the story is...

The main thing I hate about the new Corolla is the shifter. It’s a CVT, not a manual, yet it’s trying to look like a manual gearstick. That bugs the shit out of me, and every manufacturer is doing it. As Mr. Regular said, NO CLUTCH, NOT A MANUAL.

It is really nice. A good place to be. Seating position is 100% to my liking, which is rare on new cars

Man Uly, I’ve had some weird cars in the past few years. When I married my wife, she came with a silver 08 Camry with almost no options. That car is incredible. It’s not super “FUN” to drive, but it’s really not that bad either. Plus it’s as reliable as can be and great on gas...which allows me to get other things and feel safe that we have the trusty Camry in the stable. It’s at 113,000 miles and we’re keeping her forever, regardless of whatever other cars we get.

I had a previous gen as a rental and before that drove the previous gen a lot in Texas a work vehicle. They are only getting better is all I have to say.

I want to ask the rental car dudes to let me drive one here at work. one of the best cars I drove last year (besides the Rolls Royce Ghost to lunch at KFC) was a 2015 Ford Escape Ecoboost. Sooooo awesome in every way!

I think they were. Me (240lbs at 5’10”) Held be in. I didn’t get that typical lower back pain as I do on most cars. A bit surprised myself. As a Volvo employee, I know what nice seats are lol :]

on a serious note though, I can’t say that I all out hate the Corolla... It’s not my choice of car but it does its job well for the people who only need an appliance-type car. also, my sister has a manual 09 Corolla S and to be honest, it's not *that* bad. It's not great, but is it a shit pile like some people would want you to believe? Nah.

Well, I only saw one Pathfinder, and that was at a 711.
However, and Im not making this up. I leave my house, and make a left turn onto the 2 lane road that leads from my neighborhood onto a main road. I come up to this guy doing about 10mph under the limit. Funny stuff.
Also I saw this, thought it was funny.

Corolla was probably looking for an address. I tend to slow down when trying to find customer addresses. The big truck.... that’s his/her thing, who are we to judge.
No SR20 but, last week, a Lotus customer came to pick up.... ran straight into our building attempting to leave. Forgot how to manual in 2 days?.... who knows. Probably just exhausted after a long ass fucking day at work.

Agreed! I just like stirring the pot once in a while. I lived in TX for 90% of my life untill very recently. And as Im sure you know, the vehicle of choice there is a large one lol. Tahoe, Burban 1/2 ton truck etc with one person inside of it lol.
